NSA Marketing at its Finest – Going Green? Right.

Oh the flagrant, in your face contradictions of our government, hard at work with trillions of our tax dollars, in the middle of a deepening recession. Is it just me or is much (not all) of marketing and PR work simply the fine-tuned, professionalized art of deception? The green movement is a total fraud, a tool used to manipulate the public, to instigate fear in the masses so that we’ll submit our lives to their updated, hip brand of authoritarianism; and things like this simply prove that fact. To be sure, we haven’t gotten to that point yet, but we’re well on our way.

We are seeing the slow encroachment of state control over the majority and it is by design. Do you honestly think those in power give a rip about the environment? Some honestly do, sure. Does Gore really care though? What’s the real agenda? With his planes flown to and from Senate hearings pertaining to the disastrous theory that is human-induced global warming; with his multiple houses that each consume ten times what a single average size house consumes in energy; and his millions of dollars to spend on all kinds of carbon-producing products? Come on. The rubber doesn’t meet the road for too many of these people, including Senator Barbara Boxer, who recently used a doomsday scenario to scare people into supporting the climate bill. And it certainly doesn’t for the very government now implementing caps and taxes on our own energy consumption.

Here’s one of the biggest contradictions I’ve seen with all this though, as if Gore’s, Boxer’s and Pelosi’s actions weren’t enough evidence alone that the green movement is an elitist fraud. According to the second article above, the NSA is going to use so much power at this new facility that the reliability of other customers’ power in the area may be at risk. And even if their outlandish greenhouse gas emitting consumption doesn’t affect other customers, this one (1) facility is going to use upward of 65 megawatts — roughly the equivalent electrical load of every home in Salt Lake City.” How green of them. And what exactly are they doing with all that energy? Protecting us? Hopefully. Who knows though. The NSA has really become gigantic in the past few years. What kind of databases are they creating? What kinds of information are they storing? One must wonder.

The climate bill now going before the Senate, already passed by the House, is just another way for the government to gain more control over every aspect of our lives and redistribute wealth, not necesserily to the poor (as other governments have said in times past), but back into the hands of the government. This is classic Marxist theory, just in an updated, postmodern context that uses stealth instead of force to get what they want.

When force was used in the past, the result was violently devastating and at many points counterproductive toward their end goals. Now the tactic seems to be getting the consent of the public at large in order to gain control. Aldous Huxley was right: this method is much more efficient and less problematic and certainly less bloody because you’ve captured the will of the people as they blindly walk into a form of government control they can’t even see.

Instead of overtly federalizing everything (though they are doing that too, yet no one is paying attention), those in power have resorted primarily to misinformation, or flat-out lying, to accomplish their goals, hence the theory of man-made global warming. This is exactly the kind of thing Aldous Huxley warned about. It may not be happening in exactly the same terms as he prescribed, but it is happening. A majority of the public is focused on the next American Idol or Jon and Kate Plus 8, while our government is quietly being converted into an increasingly larger, bureaucratic control state. This is not tyranny by force, but it certainly is tyranny by deception.

We really need to wake up as to what is happening in this country. Unfortunately, the shrine of entertainment has blinded most people to the reality of things and created a passive, indifferent culture that has little appetite for public discourse, mainly because it is not entertaining or fun, as if that we’re the main goal and point of life. Very sad state of affairs.
